SEECO has two manufacturing facilities
in the greater Charlotte,
N.C. area. Plant 1 is located
immediately adjacent to Charlotte Douglas International Airport and is
easily accessible by interstates I-77 and I-85.
This
plant is our primary
manufacturing facility and includes our foundry, machining, and metal
fabrication departments. This facility functions as a parts plant and is
responsible for producing component parts for all SEECO product lines; it
also houses the assembly operations for group operated switches.
Other functions located at this facility include application engineering
(switches), customer service, order entry, purchasing, and sales and
marketing functions.
Construction of our new second facility was
completed in late 2003 and entered service in February 2004. This
brand new facility houses interrupter assembly, motor
operator assembly, and sensor assembly departments, as well as product
development, application engineering and accounting.
Plant 2 provides SEECO with over 12,000
square feet of additional assembly space and will readily accommodate the
continued sales growth of these products for the next 5-7 years.
